Before you begin
You need an internet-connected screen with a compatible browser and a phone with the photos you want to show. A laptop or desktop browser is also a useful first test. If a projector does not have its own browser, use a connected computer as the viewing device.
1. Open the viewer on the big screen
Visit app.viewphoto.tv in the TV or computer browser. Start a viewing session and leave its QR code visible. Opening the viewer on your phone alone does not make a nearby TV part of the session.
2. Join with your phone
Use your phone’s camera or QR scanner to open the session link. Check that you are joining the screen in front of you. A session link grants access to that shared space, so keep it within your group.
3. Choose a few photos
Use the photo or file selection control on your phone. Begin with a small selection so you can confirm the connection and display. Your chosen files are uploaded to the session; this is not a live broadcast of the phone screen.
4. Enjoy the shared view
Once the upload completes, use the viewer to browse the gallery and open a photo in full screen. Leave the viewing device connected while you share. Check the displayed session expiry before planning a longer gathering.
Choosing photos on iPhone and Android
The selection screen is provided by your device and browser. Its appearance and available sources can differ. If an image from iCloud or Google Photos is not available, download it to your phone, then select the saved copy. Avoid signing into a personal cloud account on a borrowed TV.
If a photo does not appear
Confirm that both devices have internet access and that the phone joined the current session. Wait for the upload to finish, then try one local photo. If the TV browser cannot load the viewer, try a computer browser to isolate whether the problem is the screen or the connection. Start a fresh session if the original one has expired.

How do I show photos from my phone on a TV?
Open app.viewphoto.tv in the TV’s browser, then scan the session QR code with your phone. Select the pictures you want to share. The uploaded photos appear in the viewer on the big screen.
Do I need to install an app or create an account?
No account or app-store download is needed for browser viewing. You can optionally add the web app to your home screen if your browser supports installation.
Does my phone need to use the same Wi-Fi as the TV?
The service uses an online session rather than local screen pairing. Both devices need an internet connection; they do not need to share the same Wi-Fi network.
Can I choose pictures from Google Photos or iCloud?
Available sources depend on your phone and its file or photo picker. If a cloud picture is not available there, save it to your device first and select the local copy. No direct cloud-account connection is required by this workflow.
