How do I show photos from my phone on a TV?
Open app.viewphoto.tv in the TV’s browser, then scan the session QR code with your phone. Select the pictures you want to share. The uploaded photos appear in the viewer on the big screen.
Do I need to install an app or create an account?
No account or app-store download is needed for browser viewing. You can optionally add the web app to your home screen if your browser supports installation.
Does my phone need to use the same Wi-Fi as the TV?
The service uses an online session rather than local screen pairing. Both devices need an internet connection; they do not need to share the same Wi-Fi network.
Will people see my messages or the rest of my photo library?
The viewer receives the photos you select and upload. It does not mirror your phone display, so opening a message on your phone does not put that message in the photo viewer.
Does it work on every Smart TV?
The TV needs a browser that can run the viewer and an internet connection. Browser capabilities vary by model and software version. Try the viewer on the intended screen before a gathering.
Can I choose pictures from Google Photos or iCloud?
Available sources depend on your phone and its file or photo picker. If a cloud picture is not available there, save it to your device first and select the local copy. No direct cloud-account connection is required by this workflow.
Can friends add their own pictures?
Multiple people can join a shared session using its QR code and contribute selected photos. Share session access only with the people you want to participate.
Are my photos stored permanently?
ViewPhoto.TV uses temporary sessions rather than permanent photo albums. The published privacy policy describes temporary storage and automatic deletion. Check the live viewer for the session’s current expiry and limits.
Can someone save a picture shown on the screen?
Someone who can see a photo can photograph the display or take a screenshot. Share images with people and on screens you trust; temporary storage cannot prevent someone from capturing what they see.
Is ViewPhoto.TV free?
The website offers free access to the viewer. Current session limits and any optional upgrades should be checked in the app before use.
